Bag vs BottleWith ever increasing sales of bulk bottled water now exceeding 14% of the total market, the environmental impact associated with the 15-litre polycarbonate bottle and delivery system is under scrutiny by national and regional public and private groups. Is reusing bottles really the answer? The average 15-litre bottle container can require up to 60 litres to wash and fill. Re-using containers requires cleaning chemicals, electric usage, double the warehouse and double handling, all adding significantly to the carbon footprint. Single use means singularly less wasteWe're also working on a degradable solution for our bags which will be the best outcome for everyone. However, until then we encourage you to recycle your bags - which we're happy to pick up to make sure they are disposed of in the best way for recycling. Smaller bags
